What was the problem?

Three squads (product, AI, and content) needed to collaborate on a complex initiative, but the cross-team coordination was fragile, and unclear ownership created risk of misalignment and scope creep during a time-sensitive collaboration.

What did I do?

I became the liaison between the three squads, maintaining alignment across competing priorities and evolving requirements. I also contributed technical work by improving an agentic AI flow, and when the company decided to end the collaboration early, I rescoped the effort to deliver maximum value in the compressed timeline.

How did I do it?

  1. I established regular syncs between product, AI, and content squads to surface blockers, align on priorities, and maintain shared understanding of the initiative.
  2. I translated requirements and constraints between teams, helping each squad understand the others’ constraints and capabilities.
  3. I also improved an agentic AI flow that the content team had started to make sure the initiative reached a successful state.
  4. When the company announced early finalization of the project, I descoped as much as necessary to deliver a coherent result in the remaining time.

What did I achieve?

I kept three independent squads aligned and moving forward despite organizational uncertainty, prevented scope creep and miscommunication, and ensured the collaboration shipped a meaningful outcome even when the timeline compressed unexpectedly.
