What was the problem?

Engineers often navigate career transitions, impostor syndrome, and the interview process in isolation, lacking perspectives and guidance during vulnerable moments in their professional journey.

What did I do?

I began writing articles on Medium exploring career path changes, impostor syndrome, and interviewing elsewhere, drawing on my own experiences to create a public resource that helped engineers feel less alone.

How did I do it?

  1. I reflected on challenging moments in my own career—transitions, self-doubt, and navigating opportunities elsewhere.
  2. I wrote candidly about what impostor syndrome feels like, how to think about career changes, and how to approach interviewing at other companies.
  3. I published articles on Medium to share these perspectives with a broader audience.

What did I achieve?

Created a body of work that gave engineers permission to think critically about their careers and provided honest perspective on difficult transitions, contributing to a culture where vulnerability and career exploration are treated as normal parts of professional development. 2 people joined a company I was in and mentioned they felt inspired by the articles they found.
